Oriel Kyffin Williams

This gallery is a fitting tribute to one of Wales’ most celebrated and respected artists. Sir Kyffin Williams generously donated over 400 original works of art to Oriel Ynys Môn, ranging from sketches to drawings to major oils.

The gallery prides itself on this large and important collection which it holds for the benefit of the people of Anglesey and its visitors. The exhibitions range from Oriel Ynys Môn’s own collection to works borrowed from institutions and individuals.

An exclusive exhibition portraying the work of Kyffin Williams and Charles Tunnicliffe and their unique relationship with Anglesey. Works on display include the Oriel’s own collection as well as works from private and public collections.

A special and rare opportunity to see the work of Kyffin Williams that adorns the walls of homes across the country. 

The Kyffin Williams Drawing Prize promotes and rewards excellence and talent in drawing. The competition is open to both established and emerging artists in the discipline of drawing and is judged under a specific criteria by a panel of judges. In this exhibition a selection of the successful works will be on show.
