1. Introduction
As a condition of use, you agree not to use the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page for any purpose that is prohibited by the below terms, Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities or Facebook’s Privacy Policy
2. General rules
Visit Anglesey reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. If it does so, the updated version will be effective as soon as it is uploaded on to the Visit Anglesey Facebook page and your continued use of the Visit Anglesey Facebook page following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms so that you are aware of any changes to them.
When you use the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page you must comply with all applicable UK laws relating to online conduct (including, without limitation, content which can be posted online) and with any applicable international laws, including the local laws in your country of residence (together referred to as "Applicable Laws").
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK Courts in relation to any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and/or your use of the Visit Anglesey Facebook page.
3. Content submitted to the Facebook page
As the user of the Facebook page, you are hereby acknowledging that the community oriented functionality of the page is inherently intended to provide users with the opportunity to share and provide information that you voluntarily provide and desire to make public and allow any other user of the page access to that information
You are responsible for all of your activity in connection with the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page. For purposes of the Terms of Service, the term "Content" includes, without limitation, User Submissions, videos, audio clips, blogs, blog comments, profiles, information, data, text, photographs, software, graphics, and interactive features generated, provided, or otherwise made accessible by the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page and/or Facebook or its partners
By posting, uploading and/or displaying any Content to the Facebook page you warrant that you own all intellectual property and proprietary rights in such Content or that you have a licence from the owner of such rights to post, upload and/or display such Content on the Visit Anglesey Facebook page. Should you post any content which infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, right of publicity or other right of any other person or entity or violates any law or contractual duty Visit Anglesey reserves the right to remove it from the Visit Anglesey Facebook page.
You acknowledge and agree that Visit Anglesey may preserve User Content and may also disclose User Content if required to do so by law (including Freedom of Information Requests) or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
(a) comply with legal process;
(b) enforce the Terms of Use;
(c) respond to claims that any User Content violates the rights of third-parties; or
(d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Visit Anglesey, its partners, users and the public.
The council will not accept responsibility for user generated content and will not reuse such items.
4. User conduct
You agree that when using the Visit Anglesey Facebook page you will comply with all Applicable Laws (as defined in paragraph 2), these Terms and Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities or Facebook’s Privacy Policy and you acknowledge that you are responsible for all acts and omissions which occur under your user-name. In particular, but without limitation, you agree not to (and shall not permit any third party to) either:
(a) take any action or
(b) upload, download, post, submit or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content on or through the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page, including without limitation any User Submission, that:
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other right of any other person or entity or violates any law or contractual duty;
- you know or reasonably believe is false, misleading, untruthful or inaccurate;
- is unlawful, threatening, harmful to children in any way, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, obscene, or offensive;
- constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk e-mail ("spamming");
- involves commercial activities and/or sales or offers of sale without the Visit Anglesey and Facebook’s prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, or pyramid schemes;
- contains software viruses or any other computer codes, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, limit or interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any system, data, password or other information of Visit Anglesey or any third party;
- impersonates any person or entity, including any employee or representative of Visit Anglesey promotes or provides instructional information about illegal activities or exceeds the scope of the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page that you have signed up for;
- for example, accessing and using the tools that you do not have a right to use.
5. Moderation
Visit Anglesey expressly states and you hereby acknowledge and understand that Visit Anglesey does not accept any responsibility for monitoring or policing User Content made available through the Visit Anglesey Facebook page and that Visit Anglesey does not accept any liability or responsibility express or implied involved with or resulting from the use of the Visit Anglesey Facebook page. Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree to comply with and strictly adhere to the member conduct detailed in the User Conduct section of this agreement. Although Visit Anglesey has no obligation to monitor the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page, content, or User Submissions. Visit Anglesey however, reserves the right to:
(i)remove any content in its sole discretion, including without limitation any User Submissions, without notice to you and for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such content or User Submission or if Visit Anglesey is concerned that you may have violated the Terms of Service), or for no reason at all and
(ii) to request that Facebook remove any User Submissions or content from the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page and/or block any User from the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page.
Because of the volume of reader comments, Visit Anglesey cannot review individual moderation decisions with users. Moderating of comments will generally occur during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and replied to as early as possible the next business day.
7. Copyright Policy
You are solely responsible for User Content that you provide on the Visit Anglesey Facebook page. With respect to User Content, you hereby represent and warrant that (a) you own the User Content or have all necessary licenses or permissions necessary to provide the User Content and authorize Visit Anglesey to use all copyright, patent or other proprietary rights in and to any User Content in manner required pursuant to the Facebook page; and (b) you have the written consent, license or permission of each identifiable person to include any name or likeness of such person in the User Content.
The logos ("Trade Marks") contained on or in the Visit Anglesey Facebook page are owned by Visit Anglesey or its partners. You cannot use, copy, edit, vary, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, store, transmit, commercially exploit or disseminate the Trade Marks without the prior written consent of Visit Anglesey or the relevant third party partner of Visit Anglesey.
8. Link to third parties.
The Facebook page may contain links to websites operated by third parties ("Third Party Websites"). Visit Anglesey does not have any influence or control over any such Third Party Websites and, unless otherwise stated, is not responsible for and does not endorse any Third Party Websites or their availability or contents.
9. Visit Anglesey Privacy Policy
We take your privacy very seriously. Visit Anglesey will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms below and those of the Facebook Privacy Policy. By using the Visit Anglesey Facebook Page you acknowledge and agree that you have read and accept the terms of our privacy policy and these Terms.

Visit Anglesey respects the privacy of every individual who visits our Facebook page This Privacy Policy outlines the information Visit Anglesey may collect and how we may use that information.
Personal Data
Visit Anglesey will not collect any personally-identifiable information about you and will only contact you by posting new information to our Facebbok page which will appear on your wall if you have chosen to "Like" Visit Anglesey.
Children
Parents should be aware that Visit Anglesey Privacy Policy only governs our use of personal data, but that information which is voluntarily given by children - or others – on our Facebook page may be used by other parties to generate unsolicited mail. We encourage all parents to instruct their children in the safe and responsible use of their personal data while using the Internet.
10. Access restriction and service suspension or termination.
Visit Anglesey reserves the right in its sole discretion to deny you access to the Visit Anglesey Facebook page with or without notice and for any reason including, without limitation, if you fail to comply with any clause 4 (User Conduct) or any other provision of these Terms. Visit Anglesey reserves the right to suspend or cease providing all or any of the Facebook page without notice, and shall have no liability or responsibility to you in any manner whatsoever if it chooses to do so.
11. Advertisers
We accept no responsibility for adverts posted on the Visit Anglesey Facebook page. If you agree to purchase goods and/or services from any third party who advertises on the Visit Anglesey Facebook page you do so at your own risk. The advertiser, not Visit Anglesey, is responsible for such goods and/or services and if you have any queries or complaints in relation to them, your only recourse is against the advertiser.
12. Disclaimer / Liability
Use of the Facebook page is at your own risk. We accept no responsibilty for the conduct of any user of the Facebook page; an error, delay or failure in the transmission of any communication between users and any technical failure of the internet or the Facebook service.
Visit Anglesey will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), under statute or otherwise, as a result of or in connection with the Visit Anglesey Facebook page for any: (i) economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or (ii) loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) special or indirect or consequential loss.
